Cathy Jones

Cathy Jones joined the Board in July 2020 and is a member of the Board’s Quality Committee. Cathy has 25 years’ experience working in healthcare, including 20 years specialising in quality and risk management.

Her executive experience spans acute hospitals, rehabilitation, mental health and aged care services in both public and private sectors, with clinical qualifications in allied health and an MBA. Cathy is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Board Director at Eastern Access Community Health (EACH).

She has served on several national committees for the Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Health Care and Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Cathy lectures internationally in quality and risk management, and hosts the No Harm Done podcast.

Her areas of interest are person centred care, risk management, measurement of performance indicators and public reporting. Cathy has two teenage boys and to relax she likes nothing better than sitting in front of all 5 days of a test cricket match.
