Michael Delahunty

Michael Delahunty was appointed to the GV Health Board as Chairperson on 1 July, 2020.

Michael joined the Board after a long career as a Chief Executive in rural public health services having been the Chief Executive of Echuca Regional Health during which he oversaw the $72m redevelopment of that hospital, Stawell Regional Health and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Michael is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Associate Member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and a Churchill Fellow. He has previously been a Board Director of Rural Workforce Agency Victoria and the Victorian Healthcare Association.

Michael lives in Echuca with his wife Jackie and they have two daughters one of whom lives in Singapore and the other in Melbourne.
