GV Health’s audiologists are here to support better hearing for the whole community from our tiniest infants to older adults.
Our team provides comprehensive assessments for hearing loss and related conditions, helping people stay connected, confident and informed about their hearing health.
With a strong focus on early and accurate diagnosis, we work to identify hearing disorders as soon as possible to ensure the very best care and outcomes.
Our audiologists can help if you or someone you care for is experiencing:
- Hearing difficulties present from birth
- Reduced, changed or fluctuating hearing
- Hearing concerns following a medical event such as head trauma, neurological conditions or exposure to certain medications
- Persistent or distressing tinnitus
- Communication challenges related to hearing loss

Our services are available to:
- GV Health inpatients
- Outpatients referred from a GV Health clinical service
- Members of the community
How do I access GV Health’s audiology services?
Call (03) 5821 6600 to book an appointment.
Audiology appointments are referral-only. To arrange a referral, please speak with your:
- General Practitioner (GP)
- Maternal and Child Health nurse
- Treating medical or allied health team
Priority is given to:
- Infants referred through the Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Program (VIHSP)
- Children referred following Maternal and Child Health hearing screenings
If you experience sudden hearing loss or have urgent concerns about a child’s hearing, please call (03) 5821 6600. We will do everything we can to provide timely support.
