Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Careers
For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have cared for their families and communities through connection to Country, Culture, kinship and Community. At GV Health, we recognise that social and emotional wellbeing is holistic. Culturally safe care makes a real difference for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and Mob who use our mental health and wellbeing services.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff bring knowledge, cultural expertise and community connections that help make our services more welcoming, respectful and responsive. They work alongside consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to make sure care respects Culture and self-determination. They also help people get support in a way that feels safe and right for them.
