GV Health is a great choice for building a career as an Allied Health Assistant

Allied Health Assistants work across GV Health’s admitted and community settings, supporting a range of health disciplines to deliver high-quality care. By implementing treatment plans, guiding exercises, preparing materials, and assisting with joint therapies, we help patients enhance their health, well-being, and participation in meaningful activities.

Allied Health Assistants are integral members of our allied health teams, working alongside Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Exercise Physiologists, and Dietitians. Qualified allied health assistants are supported to further develop their skills and competencies in a range of clinical areas.

We also offer opportunities for allied health professional students to work in casual roles, gaining exposure and experience in a public health setting whilst undertaking their degree. In addition, GV Health offers a GAP year program for school leavers to introduce them to allied health careers.

Our areas of Allied Health Assistant practice
