Midwifery Post Graduate Diploma Student Program
This 52-week course is run from Latrobe University’s Bendigo campus. The program allows students to be employed part time whilst studying. Employment is on the basis of a 12-month contract, which is subject to performance assessment throughout the year. National Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse is required in order to participate in the program.
Graduate Midwifery Program
This program was developed in response to the need for ongoing clinical support and further education for rural midwives. A 6 – 12 month program is offered twice a year or as negotiated. The program offers enthusiastic midwides an opportunity to consolidate skills in a supportive environment.
A double degree (Bachelor Nursing and Bachelor Midwifery) combined graduate program is also available.
