Michael Tehan, a distinguished member of the GV Health board, has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, marking a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to the community.
Awarded on January 26, this accolade pays tribute to Mr Tehan’s commitment to various roles, including his time as a board director at GV Health since 2017 and his chairmanship at GOTAFE from 2007 to 2017. Mr Tehan has also served as a commissioner of Strathbogie Shire Council from 1994 to 1997.
With a strong passion for sport and community spirit, Mr Tehan has also made a significant contributing to the Goulburn Valley Football Netball League and The Rotary Club of Euroa.
Notably, Mr Tehan’s dedication to community development earned him the title of Regional Lawyer of the Year by the Law Institute of Victoria in 2012.
