Alasdair joined GV Health in January 2017. He graduated in medicine in Manchester in 1999. He has undergone training in orthopaedic surgery in England and obtaining his fellowship in 2012. Alasdair undertook Australian Orthopaedic Association approved fellowships in Adelaide in trauma, arthroplasty and arthroscopy between 2013 and 2016. He was granted FRACS and FaOrthA in 2018.
As an orthopaedic specialist Alasdair undertakes shoulder, hip, knee and trauma surgery.
Alasdair’s professional interests include surgical training and human factors in surgical practice. He is an Emergency Management of Severe Trauma instructor and a Training in Professional Skills instructor at Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
