Dr Roberts is originally from the UK and attended the University of Sheffield Medical School before going on to complete training in her chosen speciality of anaesthetics. Helen moved to Australia for a year in 2012 and then decided to stay.
Dr Roberts joined GV Health in 2015 after spending 2.5 years working at Alfred Health and Monash Health in Melbourne. She has dual UK and Australian fellowships in anaesthesia and a qualification in medical administration.
As the Clinical Director of Anaesthetics, Helen is responsible for the safe and effective running of the anaesthetic and acute pain service at GV Health. She is also an elected member of the Victorian Regional Committee of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
Helen’s professional interests include medical leadership, the promotion of specialist medical training in regional and rural settings, and advocacy for the provision of excellence in regional healthcare.
