Dr Senthil Rengasamy

Clinical Director Orthopaedics

Mr Senthil Rengasamy is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon. Senthil worked as a staff specialist surgeon at Redcliffe Hospital in QLD prior to his commencement at GV Health in Shepparton in 2017.  He undertook his initial few years of unaccredited orthopaedic training in Townsville Hospital in 2009, then Ipswich Hospital in 2010.  He was accepted to the AOA QLD training scheme in 2010, and commenced his accredited orthopaedic training in 2011. This training was initially at the Redcliffe Hospital followed by further rotations in other teaching hospitals including arthroplasty rotations at Prince Charles and QEII Jubilee Hospitals and paediatric rotations at Mater Children’s Hospital with successful completion of his fellowship in 2016.

Senthil’s early years of medical training involved obtaining his bachelor degree with distinction from the Madras Medical College in 2000, followed by his Masters in Orthopaedics at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh in 2004.

Mr Senthil Rengasamy is currently appointed as a specialist orthopaedic surgeon with the additional role of Clinical Director/Head of Unit in Orthopaedics at GV Health. Senthil is now offering an anterior approach for hip replacements, robotic-assisted knee replacement and continues to offer latest technological advances to ensure his patients have the best possible outcomes in their surgery.
