GV Health now offers access to comprehensive, world-class fertility treatment including genetic counselling, fertility preservation, fertility assessment, and treatment.
This free service is available to individuals and couples of all genders who:
- Who have been trying to conceive naturally but have been unsuccessful, and/or
- Whose situation or health may prevent or impair fertility or safe conception, and
- Meet the relevant criteria.
To access Victoria’s Public Fertility Service, your GP or specialist will need to send a referral to the Royal Women’s Hospital, who is leading this service. The results of relevant tests and investigations should be included with the referral.
Your referral will be assessed by the Royal Women’s Hospital. If your referral is accepted, the Royal Women’s Hospital will pass your referral onto GV Health.
Once you are a patient of the fertility service, you will have shared care with GV Health and The Royal Women’s Hospital for your treatments and procedures.
